Student Health Team - Special Educator/Special Teacher

We are now looking for staff for our Student Health Team who, together with an experienced JENSEN principal, will help launch what will become Sigtuna's best primary school (F–9). At the start, the school will have approximately 300 students in grades F–7.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Be part of the student health team and be responsible for the school's work with students in need of special support.
• Be responsible for working efficiently with the resources we have.
• Support function for staff in special pedagogical issues, guidance.
• You should contribute to the school's goals and be engaged in the entire school's development.
• Coaching responsibility

As part of our team, you will contribute to students reaching knowledge goals and their full potential. You promote students' development and learning through, for example, lesson visits, observations, mapping, tests, guidance, and method development. Teaching in subjects may occur as part of the position.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for you who are a special educator, special teacher, or teacher with special pedagogical competence with professional experience from any school form and experience in teaching students in need of special support. You have an engagement and drive beyond the ordinary. You are a clear leader who creates safety and is a role model for your students. As a person, you are creative and open to new ideas and perspectives.

Employment Type

The position is a full-time temporary employment with a start date in August 2026 or by agreement. For this position, we apply a six-month probationary period.

The first step is to complete two psychological tests. Test links will be sent via email immediately after the application is submitted, and you will receive feedback on the tests immediately after you have completed them. After that, a selection will be made, and invitations will be sent to an information meeting that will take place in early February.

Within primary school, you must, according to law (2000:873), present an extract from the criminal record. The order form can be downloaded from the police's website. Order in good time – it takes at least 14 days to receive the extract.
